I’ve spent more than 30 years in public accounting, working with firms of all sizes—from sole practitioners to regional CPA firms—in various locations including Little Rock, Dallas, and Denver. That breadth of experience has shown me what owners truly need from their accountant: clarity, consistency, and a partner who understands the realities of running a practice.

A few years ago, I took a path most CPAs never consider. I went back to school, earned my Physical Therapist Assistant license, and spent a year working directly in patient care. Inside various practice settings, I saw the packed treatment schedules, the documentation demands, the insurance challenges, and the deep satisfaction of helping people regain function and independence.

That experience changed the way I serve clients. When I work with Physical Therapy clinics and other healthcare practices now, I’m not looking in from the outside—I’ve lived the workflow, felt the pressures, and understand the mission behind the work. I know what matters to clinicians because I’ve been part of a therapy team myself.

I also maintain my PTA license and stay current in the profession. Staying connected to the therapy world keeps me grounded in the realities clinicians face today and ensures my guidance reflects both current clinical practice and the evolving challenges healthcare providers navigate.

Today, I combine both sides of my background: the technical depth of a long‑time CPA and the practical insight of someone who has worked in healthcare. I support Physical Therapy practices, other healthcare providers, and small businesses that want an experienced advisor who listens, understands, and helps them build something sustainable.

I believe in clear numbers, honest conversations, and helping owners make decisions with confidence—not stress.
